Abstract
PURPOSE:To attempt the reinforcement of the combining strength of an armature core of rotating electric machine and a dovetail pillow restraining the sliding against each other of the dovetail pillow and the armature core by a method wherein a restraining part to restrain the transfer in the radial direction is provided on the contacting face of a cotter and a dovetail groove. CONSTITUTION:A convex projecting part 11 is provided on a cotter 10b coming in contact with an armature core 5, and a groove 12 matching with the projecting part is provided at the contacting side with cotter in a dovetail groove 6 to make the both to match. By providing the restraining part to prevent the transfer in the radial direction on a dovetail pillow contacting face 9, i.e., on the contacting face of the dovetail groove 6 with the cotter 10b like this, the sliding against each other is restrained by the restraining part, and as the projecting part 11 of cotter receives the sliding force acting against the dovetail pillow contacting face, it is effective to provide the projecting part in a right-angled direction against the dovetail pillow contacting face.
