Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve bare corrosion resistance of plated coat itself and corrosion resistance after coating, by forming a fixed quantity of electroplated layer mainly composed of zinc and contained a specific ratio of nickel, cobalt, chromium on the surface of steel sheet.
CONSTITUTION: 4W50g/m2 electroplated layer mainly composed of zinc and contained 5W20wt% nickel, 0.001W2.0wt% cobalt and 0.001W2.0wt% chromium, is formed on the surface of steel sheet. Hereby, bare corrosion resistance of coat itself is improved and also, generation of blister after coating is delayed. On occasion of manufacturing the substrate steel sheet for coating, desired coat can be formed on the steel sheet by plating by containing 20W150g/l zinc, 25W100g/l nickel, 5W 20g/l cobalt and 0.05W1g/l chromium as plating coat forming component in the publicly known acidic galvanization bath as basic bath.
