Abstract

PURPOSE:To adjust the contact pressure of bearings upon a guide shaft arbitrarily by making one of three pieces one set of bearings which supprt and guide the guide shaft movable in a horizontal direction with respect to the other two pieces. CONSTITUTION:Three pieces of bearings 41, 42, 43 are disposed between a pair of mounting plates 1, 1 roughly at an equal angle in contact with the outside circumferential surface of a guide bar 3 from three directions, thereby restraining and guiding the bar 3. The two pieces 41, 42 out of 3 pieces one set olf the bearings are fixedly mounted to the plates 1, 1. The other one bearings 43 is made movable in and out with respect to the bar 3 by means of set bolts 11 and the contact pressure of the bearings 41, 42, 43 upon the bar 3 is adjusted arbitrarily by adjusting these bolts 11.
