Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the spark discharging current surge from applying on the amplifier by insulating between the primary and secondary coils then inserting a shield made of a conductive material between both coils, then connecting said shield and one end of the secondary coil and grounding.
CONSTITUTION: Primary coil 3 and secondary coil 6 are insulated and a ground potential shield paper 5 is inserted between them. Consequently the spark discharging current from the ignition plug 26 doesn't flow through the amplifier 24 connected to the primary coil 3, thereby the surge isn't applied on the primary coil 3 and the amplifier 24 even when the spark discharging current flows through the secondary coil 6.
