Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic head wherein the directivity of an externally induced noise at the magnetic head is changed to a direction different from the direction of the noise, a noise based on an electromagnetic induction from the outside is hard to pick up and information can be processed always properly with reference to a magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic head 1a wherein a coil 18 is wound on a head core 7 bonded to a slider 2, the coil 18 is arranged in a position where the directivity of its externally induced noise is different from the direction of noise from the outside.
