δdは分子間の分散力からのエネルギーであり,
δpは分子間の双極子分子間力からのエネルギーであり、
δhは分子間の水素結合からのエネルギーである。

物理学的測定は、後述するように、下記の試験および試験方法を用いて行った。別段の指示がない限り、試験標準は2014年に施行されたものを指す。
PEIを含有するワニスを含むラミネートを、下記の一般手順に従って調製した。ワニスを、厚さ0.8〜1mmのアルミナプレート上に注型して、コーティングを形成した。コーティングしたアルミナプレートを、加熱または真空下で乾燥して、コーティングから溶媒を除去した。乾燥後、銅箔を、乾燥した有機層上に配置した。280℃の温度で2時間(hr)、加熱加圧機械を用いて熱ラミネーションを行った後、金属コア銅張積層板を得た。
本実施例では、120gの示した溶媒をフラスコ内で加熱し、80℃の油浴中で維持した。30gの示したポリマーをフラスコに添加し、混合物をポリマーが溶解するまで撹拌した。粉末材料の溶解時間は概して約1hrであり、ペレットでは約8〜約12hrであった。ポリマーが溶解した後、熱源を除去し、温度が23℃に達したら、混合物を1〜3日間静置した。各組成物の粘度を、表3に示した温度で測定した。各ポリマーのデータのプロットを図1〜4に示す。
ポリエーテルイミドとジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)を含むワニスから金属コア銅張積層板を調製した。80gのDMFをフラッシュで加熱し、油浴中で温度を80℃に維持した。20gのPEI−1を添加し、ポリマーが溶解するまで混合物を撹拌した。ポリマーが溶解したら、厚さ25〜250μmのワニス層を、0.8〜1mm厚さのアルミナプレート上に注型することで調製した。送風乾燥オーブンを用いて150℃で4hrワニス層を乾燥した後、真空オーブンを用いて150℃で24hr乾燥することで、ポリエーテルイミド層を得た。銅箔をポリマー層上に配置した後、20〜40barの圧力下280℃で2hrホットプレスすることで、MCCCLを得た。実施例2、3および4のポリマー層の厚さは、それぞれ200、70および45μmであった。実施例2および4のMCCCLの断面を、それぞれ図7および8に示すように、走査電子顕微鏡を用いて画像化した。
ポリエーテルイミドとジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)を含むワニスから金属コア銅張積層板を調製した。80gのDMFをフラスコ内で加熱し、温度を油浴中で80℃に維持した。14gのPEI−1および6gのAl2O3をフラスコに添加し、ポリマーが溶解するまで混合物を撹拌した。ポリマーが溶解したら、厚さ25〜250μmのワニス層を0.8〜1mm厚さのアルミナプレート上にワニスを注型することで得た。ワニス層を150℃で4hr送風乾燥オーブンを用いて乾燥した後、150℃で24hr真空オーブンを用いて乾燥することで、ポリエーテルイミド層を得た。銅箔をポリマー層上に配置した後、20〜40barの圧力下280℃で2hrホットプレスすることで、MCCCLを得た。実施例5および6のポリマー層の厚さは、それぞれ73および50μmであった。実施例5のMCCCLの断面を、図9に示すように、走査電子顕微鏡を用いて画像化した。
金属コア銅張積層板をポリエーテルイミドとジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)を含むワニスから調製した。65gのDMFをフラスコ内で加熱し、温度を油浴中で80℃に維持した。14gのPEI−1および6gのBN−1をフラスコに添加し、混合物をポリマーが溶解するまで撹拌した。ポリマーが溶解したら、厚さ25〜250μmのワニス層を、0.8〜1mm厚さのアルミナプレート上に注型することで得た。ワニス層を150℃で4hr送風乾燥オーブンを用いて乾燥した後、150℃で24hr真空オーブンを用いて乾燥することで、ポリエーテルイミド層を得た。銅箔をポリマー層上に配置した後、20〜40barの圧力下280℃で2hrホットプレスすることで、MCCCLを得た。実施例7および8のポリマー層の厚さは、それぞれ78および46μmであった。実施例7および8のMCCCLの断面を、図10および11に示すように、走査電子顕微鏡を用いて画像化した。
金属コア銅張積層板を、65gのDMFをフラスコ内で加熱し、油浴中で温度を80℃に維持し、14gのPEI−1および6gのBN−2をフラスコに添加することよって調製した。混合物をポリマーが溶解するまで撹拌した。ポリマーが溶解したら、厚さ25〜250μmのワニス層を、0.8〜1mm厚さのアルミナプレート上に注型することによって得た。ワニス層を150℃で4hr送風乾燥オーブンを用いて乾燥した後、150℃で24hr真空オーブンを用いて乾燥することで、ポリエーテルイミド層を得た。銅箔をポリマー層上に配置した後、20〜40barの圧力下280℃で2hrホットプレスすることで、MCCCLを得た。実施例9および10のポリマー層の厚さは、それぞれ75および52μmであった。実施例9および10のMCCCLの断面を、図12および13に示すように、走査電子顕微鏡を用いて画像化した。
FR−4銅張積層板(CCL)を、ポリエーテルイミド(PEI−1)と、窒化ホウ素と、エポキシと、ジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)とを含むワニスから調製できる。50gのDMFをフラスコ内で加熱し、温度を油浴中で80℃に維持する。5gのPEI−1および5gの窒化ホウ素をフラスコに添加し、混合物をポリマーが溶解するまで撹拌する。溶解したら、80℃に予熱した38gのビスフェノールジグリシジルエーテルを混合物に添加する。1gのジシアンジアミドおよび1gの2−エチル−4−メチルイミダゾールを添加し、混合し、ワニスを形成する。E−ガラス布をワニスでぬらした後、溶媒を蒸発させることで、プリプレグを調製する。140℃で1〜5分間加熱することで、プリプレグの硬化を達成する。銅箔をプリプレグの上部および底部に配置し、2〜10MPaの圧力下200℃で2hrホットプレスすることによってラミネートすることで、FR−4CCLを得ることができる。
炭素織布を含有する複合材料が、ワニスから調製される。120gのDMFをフラスコ内で加熱し、温度を油浴中で80℃に維持する。30gのPEI−1をフラスコに添加し、ポリマーが溶解するまで混合物を撹拌する。ポリマーが溶解したら、炭素織布にワニスを、織布をワニス中に1〜5分間浸すことによって含浸させる。含浸した炭素織布を送風乾燥オーブン内で、120℃で4hr乾燥した後、300〜360℃の加熱下および圧力下で炭素織布をラミネートすることで、炭素織布を含有するプリプレグ複合材を得る。
ガラス織布を含有する複合材料が、ワニスから調製される。108gのDMFをフラスコ内で加熱し、温度を油浴中で80℃に維持する。30gのPEI−1および12gの窒化ホウ素をフラスコに添加し、ポリマーが溶解するまで混合物を撹拌する。ポリマーが溶解したら、ガラス織布をワニス中に1〜5分間浸す。含浸したガラス布を、送風乾燥オーブン内で、120℃で4hr加熱することで乾燥し、続いて10〜20mmの長さとなるようにカットする。300〜340℃の加熱下および圧力下で射出成形またはラミネートすることで、ガラス織布を含有する複合材を得ることができる。
本実施例では、コーティング材料の調製を説明する。120gのDMFをフラスコ内で加熱し、温度を油浴中で80℃に維持する。30gのPEI−2をフラスコに添加し、ポリマーが溶解するまで混合物を撹拌した。ポリマーが溶解したら、生じたワニスを、厚さ25〜100μmのコーティング層をもたらすようにポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)プレート上へ注型する。送風乾燥オーブン内で、120℃で4hr乾燥することで、PTFE基材上へのコーティングを得る。
Claims (20)
- ポリエーテルイミドと無機微粒子組成物と溶媒との合計量100wt%に対して、
ガラス転移温度が180℃以上である単離した合成直後のポリエーテルイミドを15〜35wt%と;
ポリエーテルイミドが選択した温度で溶液のままであるのに有効な量の溶媒と、
無機微粒子組成物を5〜30wt%と、を含み、
前記無機微粒子組成物は、熱伝導度が45W/mK超である高熱伝導性充填剤を含み、前記高熱伝導性充填剤は、窒化アルミニウム、炭化アルミニウム、酸化アルミニウム、アルミニウム酸窒化物、窒化ケイ素マグネシウム、炭化ケイ素、窒化ケイ素、グラファイト、膨張黒鉛、グラフェン、炭素繊維を含み、
粘度が23℃で100cP超であるか、または90℃で30cP超であることを特徴とするワニス。 - 前記溶媒が、任意に、8.5〜13の溶解度パラメータ値、90℃超の沸点またはそれら両方を有する極性の電子供与性溶媒であり、好ましくは、前記溶媒が、クロロベンゼン、ジクロロベンゼン、クレゾール、ジメチルアセトアミド、ベラトロール、ピリジン、ニトロベンゼン、安息香酸メチル、ベンゾニトリル、アセトフェノン、n−ブチルアセテート、2−エトキシエタノール、2−n−ブトキシエタノール、ジメチルスルホキシド、アニソール、シクロペンタノン、γ−ブチロラクトン、N,N−ジメチルホルムアミド、N−メチルピロリドン、または前記したものの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせである請求項1に記載のワニス。
- 前記無機微粒子組成物が、
熱伝導度が10〜45W/mKである熱伝導性充填剤、好ましくは硫化亜鉛、酸化カルシウム、酸化マグネシウム、酸化亜鉛、二酸化チタン;
熱伝導度が10W/mK未満である断熱充填剤、好ましくはタルク、炭酸カルシウム、水酸化マグネシウム、マイカ、酸化バリウム、ベーマイト、ギブサイト、硫酸バリウム、珪灰石、酸化ジルコニウム、シリカ、ガラスビーズ、ガラス繊維、アルミン酸マグネシウム、ドロマイト、セラミックでコーティングしたグラファイト、クレイ;または
前記したものの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせの1つ以上をさらに含む請求項1乃至2のいずれか1項以上に記載のワニス。 - 熱硬化性ポリマー組成物、好ましくはエポキシ、シアン酸エステル、フェノールノボラックエポキシ、または前記したものの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせを、ポリエーテルイミドの質量に対して30〜90wt%さらに含み、溶媒を除去し、熱硬化性組成物を硬化した後のワニスを含む試料では、硬化した熱硬化性組成物単独の試料と比較して、難燃性、靱性および銅からの剥離強度の少なくとも1つが向上している請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項以上に記載のワニス。
- 前記ワニスが、繊維状プリフォーム、好ましくは、ガラス織布、ガラス不織布または炭素織布上に配置され、前記ワニスでコーティングされるか、含浸される請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項以上に記載のワニス。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項以上に記載のワニスの製造方法であって、
ワニスの成分を混合するステップと;
ポリエーテルイミドを溶媒に溶解させるのに有効な温度および時間で、好ましくは溶媒の沸点より低い温度で、前記成分を加熱するステップと、
を備えるワニスの製造方法。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項以上に記載のワニスから物品を製造する方法であって、
ワニスから物品を形成するステップと;
形成された物品から溶媒を除去するステップと、
を備える物品の製造方法。 - 前記物品が、繊維、層、等角のコーティング、キャスト物品、プリプレグまたは硬化した複合品の形態であり、好ましく前記物品が層であり、
前記ワニスを基材上へ注型して注型層を形成することによって形成し;
前記注型層を加熱することによって、前記注型層を加熱下および圧力下で加熱することによって、または前記注型層を別の基材へラミネートすることによって、前記溶媒を除去する請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記物品が繊維状プリフォームをさらに含み、物品を形成するステップが、ワニスでプリフォームをコーティングするステップ、またはワニスをプリフォームに含浸するステップを備える請求項7乃至8のいずれか1項以上に記載の方法。
- 銅張積層板の調製方法であって、
加熱、圧力またはそれらの組み合わせの下で、請求項8に記載の方法によって製造したポリエーテルイミド層を導電性金属回路層にラミネートするステップと;
任意に、続いてまたは同時に、前記ポリエーテルイミド層を支持金属マトリックス層にラミネートするステップと、
を備え、前記支持金属マトリックス層が、前記導電性金属回路層と反対側の前記ポリエーテルイミド層上に配置されている調製方法。 - 金属コア銅張積層板の調製方法であって、
加熱、圧力またはそれらの組み合わせの下で、請求項8に記載の方法によって製造したポリエーテルイミド層を支持金属マトリックスにラミネートするステップと;
続いてまたは同時に、前記ポリエーテルイミド層を導電性金属回路層にラミネートするステップと、
を備え、前記導電性金属回路層が、前記支持金属マトリックス層と反対側の前記ポリエーテルイミド誘電層上に配置されており;
積層板の熱伝導度が0.3W/m−K超である調製方法。 - 前記ポリエーテルイミド層が、ガラス織布またはガラス不織布をさらに含み、前記ポリエーテルイミド層が、
請求項1乃至5のいずれか1つ以上に記載のワニスを前記ガラス織布またはガラス不織布に含浸するステップと;
含浸したガラス織布またはガラス不織布から溶媒を除去するステップと、を備える方法によって調製される請求項10乃至11のいずれか1項以上に記載の方法。 - 前記ポリエーテルイミド層が、熱硬化性ポリマー、好ましくはエポキシ、シアン酸エステル、フェノールノボラックエポキシ、または前記したものの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせをさらに含み;溶媒を除去し、前記熱硬化性ポリマーを完全に硬化した後、硬化した熱硬化性ポリマー単独と比較して、前記ポリエーテルイミド層の難燃性、靱性および銅からの剥離強度の少なくとも1つが向上している請求項10乃至12のいずれか1項以上に記載の方法。
- 前記熱硬化性ポリマーが、ラミネートする前に硬化されていないか、または部分的に硬化され;
溶媒の除去中、溶媒の除去後、またはそれら両方において、前記熱硬化性ポリマーが部分的に硬化され;
前記熱硬化性ポリマーを、ラミネートする間またはラミネートした後またはそれら両方において完全に硬化するステップをさらに含む請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記熱硬化性ポリマーがラミネートする前に完全に硬化される請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性金属回路層にパターン形成してプリント回路板または金属コアプリント回路板を得るステップと;
任意に、前記プリント回路板または前記金属コアプリント回路板を成形して、シート、管、またはロッドの形状を得るステップと、
をさらに備える請求項10乃至15の1項以上に記載の方法。 - 前記金属コアプリント回路板が、LED照明用途、太陽エネルギー用途、テレビ、携帯電話、またはラップトップコンピューターに使用され、放熱をもたらす請求項16に記載の方法。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項以上に記載のワニスを多孔質基材に含浸させるステップと;
含浸した多孔質基材から溶媒を除去するステップと、
を備え;
前記多孔質基材が、セラミック、ポリマー、ガラス、炭素、または前記したものの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする複合材の製造方法。 - 請求項18に記載方法によって形成された複合材を含む物品であって、
前記多孔質基材が、ガラス織布、ガラス不織布、繊維ガラス織布、または炭素繊維を含む繊維状プリフォームであり;
前記繊維状プリフォームが、ワニスでコーティングされているか、または含浸されており;
前記物品が、プリプレグ、シート、繊維、ワイヤコーティング、成形物品、または圧縮物品であることを特徴とする物品。 - 多層物品の製造方法であって、
請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項以上に記載のワニスを含む層を基材上に形成するステップと;
前記層から溶媒を除去してプライマー層を得るステップと;
セラミック、熱可塑性ポリマー、熱硬化性ポリマー、または前記したものの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせを含む第2の層をプライマー層上に形成して多層物品を得るステップと;
任意に、前記多層物品を熱処理して熱硬化性ポリマーを硬化するステップと;
を備え、
前記第2の層が、任意に、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項以上に記載のワニスをさらに含み、層を形成するステップが、第2の層から溶媒を除去するステップをさらに備え;
セラミックがAl2O3、TiO2、ZrO2、Cr2O3、SiO2、MgO、BeO;Y2O3、Al2O3−SiO2、MgO−ZrO2、SiC、WC、B4C、TiC、Si3N4、TiN、BN、AlN、TiB、ZrB2、または前記したものの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせであり;
前記熱可塑性ポリマーが、フッ素ポリマー、より好ましくはポリテトラフルオロエチレン、テトラフルオロエチレン−ペルフルオロアルキルビニルエーテルコポリマー、テトラフルオロエチレン−ヘキサフルオロプロピレンコポリマー、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン、テトラフルオロエチレン−エチレンコポリマー、ポリビニリデンフッ化物、または前記したものの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせであり;
前記熱硬化性ポリマー組成物が、エポキシ、シアン酸エステル、フェノールノボラックエポキシ、または前記したものの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせである製造方法。
