Claims (5)
- ガラスラミネート構造体を冷間成形する方法であって、以下のステップ:
2つの緩衝プレートと、該2つの緩衝プレートの間に介在するガラスラミネート構造体とを有する多層構造体を組み立てるステップであって、該ガラスラミネート構造体が、2つのガラスのシートと該2つのガラスのシートの間に介在するポリマー中間層とを含み、該2つの緩衝プレートの一方または両方が、それらの上または中に形成されたパターンを含む、ステップ;
該組み立てられた構造体をオートクレーブ内に配するステップ;
該組み立てられた構造体を、所定の期間、所定の圧力において、前記ポリマー中間層の軟化点を約5℃から10℃上回る温度に加熱することによって、前記オートクレーブ中において前記ガラスラミネート構造体を冷間成形するステップ;
前記オートクレーブから該組み立てられた構造体を取り出すステップ;ならびに
前記ガラスラミネート構造体を前記緩衝プレートの間から取り出すステップであって、該緩衝プレートの一方または両方の中またはその上に形成された前記パターンが、前記ガラスラミネート構造体中の厚さの変化の関数として、該ガラスラミネート構造体へと転写されている、ステップ、
を含む方法。 - 前記緩衝プレートが湾曲しており、取り出された前記ガラスラミネート構造体が、該緩衝プレートの一方または両方によって形成された前記パターンと、該緩衝プレートの湾曲との両方を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ガラスシートの一方または両方が、化学強化されたガラスであり、該第一および第二のガラスシートの厚さが、約2.1mmを超えない厚さ、約1.5mmを超えない厚さ、約1.0mmを超えない厚さ、約0.7mmを超えない厚さ、約0.5mmを超えない厚さ、約0.3mmから約2.1mmまでの範囲内の厚さ、約0.3mmから約1.0mmまでの範囲内の厚さ、約0.3mmから約0.7mmまでの厚さ、および約0.5mmから約0.7mmまでの厚さからなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記冷間成形するステップがさらに、以下のステップ:
前記組み立てられた構造体を、所定の真空レベルにおいて、真空バッグまたは真空リング内に配するステップ、および
該組み立てられた構造体を、30psi(約207kPa)と200psi(約1.379MPa)の間の圧力で、30分間から200分間までの間のソーク時間において、前記中間層の軟化点より約5℃から10℃高い温度に晒すステップ、
を含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記2つの緩衝プレートの前記パターンが異なっており、前記ガラスラミネート構造体に転写されるパターンが、該2つの緩衝プレートの該パターンの組み合わせである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
