Abstract

895,096. Holders for lampshades. VOSSLOHWERKE G.m.b.H. Jan. 20, 1961[Jan. 27, 1960; Feb. 24, 1960], No. 2296/61. Class 75(2) A spade holder for an incandescent lamp has rearwardly directed retaining tongues arranged around the periphery parallel to the lamp axis, the tongues being resilient and carrying pins at their ends which extend through bones in the shade when the latter has been fitted. In the form shown, the holder consists of a ring 4, Fig. 1, secured to the top of the lampholder 6 and a pair of arms 3 at opposite sides carrying tongues 10 on which are mounted pins 5 which engage in bones 1 on the shade 2. The parts 3, 10 are resilient and the edges of the parts 10 are turned over so that they extend parallel-to the lamp axis when the shade is fitted. In a modification, the pins 5, Fig. 6, are made of plastic with rounded ends 11 and are secured to the tongues 10 by bushes 12 engaging the feet 14 of the pins and having sleeves passing through holes in the tongues and bent over.
