Class 136 (iii) In a telescopic front wheel forkfor motor-cycles comprising tele scopic fixed upper tubes 1 and lower sliding tubes 2 provided with internal supporting members 6 for springs 3, the lower ends 4 of sliding tubes 2 carrying the wheel axle are pressed to U-shaped cross section and the lower flattened end of each tube 6 is inserted together with a washer 8 into the end 4 of the fork and clamped by a bolt 9. A bridge 13 connects the tubes 2. The bolt 9 may serve to hold the mudguard struts 10. The spring 3 is screwed on to a threaded spigot 12 of a piston 11 which is supported on the upper end of the tube 6 and slides in the stationary tube 1.
