[Class 20 (iv)] A floor, ceiling or wall structure comprises a reinforced concrete grid or grille a subdivided into a number of smaller areas b and tiles c, Fig. 3, having their edges rebated to fit between ribs a' to form a continuous surface. A slab of sound absorbing material d, Fig 4 may be fitted immediately below each tile, and ledges a<2> formed in the ribs may support tiles c<1> further to subdivide each hollow space into separate pockets. The grid may have openings or marginal recesses to accommodate stairs, doors or windows and may also be provided with grooves to accommodate pipes or wires. A smooth surface may be formed on the face of the grid remote from the tiles by means of wooden fillets attached to the ribs.
