Abstract

412,107. Pocket cases combined with watches and lighters. SIMON, C., Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Nov. 10, 1933, No. 31422. Convention date, Nov. 18, 1932. [Class 18.] A pocket case comprises compartments a, d, Fig. 3, to hold cigarettes and a lighter respeotively, the lighter compartment being closed by a lid h carrying a watch p. The cigarette compartment is provided with a separate lid g hinged, like the lid h, to the dividing wall between the two compartments ; but whereas the lid g is opened by a spring when its catch is released, the lid h is urged by a spring to the closed position. The side and back of the lighter compartment are cut away to allow access to the lighter operating lever and the top is also cut away so that the cap of the friction lighter can swing upwards. The watch ease normally supports the lighter and comprises a casing r, Fig. 4, connected to a rectangular frame s soldered beneath an aperture in the lid h, the casing being closed at one end by a sprung-on cover x, and at the other by a frame v for the watch glass. The winding knob lies in a recess in the lower wall of the case.
