394,239. Motor-car bonnet &c. fastenings. REINHARD, M., 5A, Schaumainkai, Frankfort-on-Main, Germany. Dec. 5, 1932, No. 34416. Convention date, Dec. 8, 1931. [Class 44.] A rubber fastening particularly for motor-car bonnets consists of a stem e having a spherical part k which engages with a bracket b on the bonnet and an enlargement d which presses against the bonnet. The handle g is formed as shown or with lateral arms. The stem e and the enlargement d may be of circular cross-section or the enlargement d may have a flat face to engage the bonnet. The part a by which the fastening is pivoted to the chassis may comprise an enlargement on the 'stem e. The rubber may be reinforced with fabric.
