328,498. Briscoe & Co., Ltd., W. H., and Briscoe, A. C. June 27, 1929. Hasp fastenings.-In a motor-car bonnet fastening comprising a member e, a cylindrical member a and a link g, either the member e or the member a according to which is pivoted to the link g is provided with an extension j which abuts against an attachment bracket h to limit the pivoting movement of the fastening. As shown in Fig. 1 the member e is pivoted to the link g and the member a, which is spring-urged towards the pivot, has an extension b slotted to engage a, member c fixed to the bonnet.
