Abstract
Alloys of lithium with specified proportions of calcium and strontium are obtained electrolytically. An alloy containing about 3 per cent lithium, 45 per cent sodium and 52 per cent calcium may be obtained. This may be mixed with molten lead to obtain a lead alloy containing 0,7 per cent calcium, 0,6 per cent sodium and 0,04 per cent lithium. The latter alloy may also be obtained directly by electrolysis.
