Abstract

An alloy of iron and silicon containing 13 per cent of silicon is used as an electrode in electrolysis. Alloys containing 13-15 per cent or 20-21 per cent of silicon are also referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 121,730, 157,871, 212,871, [all in Class 82 (i)], and 353,488, [Group XXXVI].
