Abstract

262,573. Timms, A. Nov. 14, 1925. Hand-trucks; vehicles with removable bodies. -A hand-truck is provided with a lever handle having pivoted or secured thereto a link adapted to engage a receptacle and draw it on, or push it off, the platform of the truck on operation of the lever. As shown, the lever handle 8 has pivoted thereto a hooked link 9 which is adapted to engage a receptacle 12 to draw it on to the platform 1. The wheels 2 are mounted preferably forwardly of the platform, and the underside of the platform is chamfered as shown at 5. Base margins 13 of the box or receptacle are recessed at 14 to engage the axle of the truck. In a modification, the margins 13 are dispensed with and guides are provided on the platform 1.
