Abstract

179,050. Lewis, H. H. April 1, 1921. Side-car attachments.-A side-car chassis complete with stays for attachment to a motor-cycle consists solely of three straight members. As shown, the chassis comprises a wheel-carrying member A secured to the cycle by a clip D, a stay B connected to the member A at E and to the cycle at or near the seat-pillar bolt at F, and a stay C connected to the member A at G and to the front down tube of the cycle at H. The stays B, C may be telescopic or otherwise adjustable.
