1514430 Suede pile fabrics KURARAY CO Ltd 13 July 1976 [14 July 1975 2 April 1976] 29132/76 Heading DIK A suede woven fabric has a warp of polyester textured yarn, polyester filament yarn or polyester spun yarn and as a weft polyester island filaments randomly distributed whose mean thicknesses are in the range 0.05 to 0.50 denier and whose degree of thickness variation is in the range 15 to 60% in which a portion of the island filaments is raised to form piles of island mono filaments whose lengths are in the range 0.5 to 4mm, the number of floating points on weft yarns whose numbers of floats are in the range 3 to 11 is in the range 100 to 500 per sq. cm of woven fabric and the relation between the shear stress 90.5 at a shear angle of 0.5‹ and the shear stress 90.5 at shear angle of 5‹ represented by 95/90.5 is in the range 1.5 to 15.
