Abstract

1481046 Valves R H WELKER 4 July 1974 29593/74 Heading F2V [Also in Division F1] An adjustable throttle valve 304 for controlling the gas flow to a reciprocating motor driving a pump (see Division F1), comprises a rod 308 which is tiltable sideways to permit gas flow between the rod and a gasket 316 from an inlet 302 to a pipe 328. Rod 308 is movable manually by rotation of a knob 438 with a snail cam edge (440), Fig. 5 (not shown). Temperature control of rod 308 is effected by a liquid-containing capsule 444 acting via a rod 454, an adjusting screw 472 being provided.
