Abstract

1347508 Printing apparatus CHAMBON Ltd 8 July 1971 [10 July 1970] 32100/71 Heading B6C In a rotary litho printing press the dampening ductor roller 2 is wiped by a metering roller 6 which rotates in the opposite direction to the roller 2 and at a lower speed. The roller 6 is flexible and distorts-see Fig. 2-when contacting the roller 2. The forme roller 8 supplies ink and water to the plate cylinder 9.
