Abstract

1347125 Double-sided adhesive tape assembly HEINRICH HERMANN 13 Aug 1971 [7 April 1971] 38202/71 Heading B5N A tape assembly comprises a plurality of interconnected sections 2 of double sided adhesive tape disposed on a backing strip 3 which is coated on both sides with adhesive repellent material, each section 2 of double sided adhesive tape being delimited at each end by a system of cuts 4 which extend through the double sided adhesive tape and are disposed transversely of the longitudinal axis of the tape assembly, each system of cuts comprising two partially parallel offset cuts defining a web 5 which interconnects adjacent tape sections. Double sided adhesive tape is defined as being an adhesve tape formed of a base member coated on each side with pressure-sensitive adhesive. The tape sections may each be delimited by two cuts (Figs. 3 and 5), three cuts (Fig. 2) and five cuts (Fig. 4). The tape assembly may be coiled upon itself during manufacture to form a reel for use in a dispensing apparatus.
