Abstract

1,231,534. Draught inducing apparatus. R. P. H. CARTWRIGHT. 14 April, 1970 [7 March, 1969], No. 12071/69. Heading F4J. Draught inducing apparatus incorporated in a flue comprises a centrifugal fan C in its housing D contained in a casing A having a flue inlet B and flue outlet E, and a break draught damper H in one side wall of said casing the fan intake (G) being opposite the other side wall and its outlet opening directly into the flue outlet E. The fan, which has flat, widely spaced radial blades, is driven by a motor F in the same wall as the break draught damper H. Solid particles collect in the casing A and are cleared periodically.
