Powdered material from hopper 8 is discharged by rotating bladed wheel 3 through the aperture shown in floor 2 and falls therefrom on to conveyer belt 7 driven by motor 4 via a variable speed unit 5 and gear-box 6. Wheel 3 is driven by motor 1. The discharge of the material is assisted by fixed cone 9.
