Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de redressage d'un arbre (10) métallique d'axe longitudinal qui comporte : - une étape (E1) initiale de repérage de la position angulaire d'une flèche (12) de l'arbre (10) sur au moins un tronçon (14) déterminé ; - une étape (E3) de redressage qui consiste à déformer plastiquement l'arbre (10) sous l'action d'un effort (Br) radial d'écrouissage pour réduire la flèche (12) ; caractérisé en ce que l'étape (E3) de redressage consiste à mettre en rotation l'arbre (10) par rapport à un bâti fixe et à appliquer continument un effort (Br) radial d'écrouissage, selon une direction d'application fixe par rapport au bâti fixe, sur le tronçon (14) déterminé, l'intensité de l'effort (Br) radial d'écrouissage variant progressivement entre une valeur maximale (Bmax) et une valeur minimale (Bmin).
