Abstract

La présente invention concerne un extrait d'algues brunes, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte moins de 50 ppm d'iode et entre 8 et 10 % de polyphénols, ledit pourcentage de polyphénols étant exprimé en équivalent acide chlorogénique par rapport au poids sec de l'extrait. La présente invention concerne également une composition d'absorption orale comprenant un tel extrait et un procédé de préparation de l'extrait selon l'invention.
