Abstract

The dry shaver has a housing which accommodates an electric driving motor for actuating a shaver and a retractable hairdressing arrangement. The fixed and reciprocating hairdressing cutters are held on a framae. The hairdressing cutter assembly is retracted and extended by an actuating button, and is centred in the housing by wedge shaped elements which prevent the hairdressing cutters from moving apart on working. These wedges press the fixed and sideways reciprocating hairdressing cutters together. This ensures stable operation because the lateral play between the cutters and the housing is eliminated.
