Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de 11-metilenesteroides de la fórmula general I **fórmula** en donde R significa un átomo de hidrógeno o un grupo acilo y X significa un átomo de oxígeno o dos átomos de hidrógeno, caracterizado porque se hace reaccionar un 11-metilen- 17-oxo-esteroide de la fórmula general II **fórmula** en donde Y representa un grupo oxo libre o un grupo oxo hidrolizable con ácido o dos átomos de hidrógeno y **fórmula** significa un doble enlace en posición 4,5-5,6-0 5, 10 ó dos dobles enlances que arten de las posiciones 3 y 5, según métodos en sí conocidos, con un compuesto cloroetinílico organometálico , para formar un compuesto de la fórmula general I, en donde R significa un átomo de hidrógeno, se hidroliza un grupo protector de 3-oxo introducido primariamente y, dependiendo del significado de R a fin de cuentas deseado, se esterifica eventualmente el grupo 17-hidroxi antes o después de la separación del grupo protector.
