Abstract

A monolithic plastic pallet is entirely manufactured as a single-piece by a moulding process and has a substantially rectangular supporting bottom (2) with two narrow sides (18) and two longitudinal sides (22) and which forms a supporting surface (8), and feet (6) formed at least in the four corners of the supporting bottom (2), at its bottom side (4) opposite to the supporting surface (8). This pallet is particularly useful in transport and storage systems in which the pallet is supported only in the area of its opposite narrow sides, its remaining length being freely suspended without any support, in the manner of a bridge. The supporting bottom (2) is designed as a double bottom with a top cover plate (10) and a lower bottom (12) arranged below the cover plate (10), at a distance therefrom. The cover plate (10) and the lower bottom (12) are joined by a supporting structure with two different types of latticework (14, 24). In the first type of latticework (14), the joining strips (16) extend in the longitudinal direction, parallel to the longitudinal sides (22), and in a second type of latticework (24), the joining strips (26) extend in the transverse direction, parallel to the narrow sides (18).
