Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for receiving, storing and delivering folded products or sheet pieces, in which a flexible steel belt designed as a transport device, which can be pulled off a supply roll, can be bent around a guide roll and can be pulled up onto a storage roll, is provided.
- a device of this type is already known from European patent application 0 387 726.
- elastic steel strips are also described which, with attached grippers, capture sheet pieces or folded products in a cyclical manner and can store them in a winding form on a storage roll. If the steel strips are to be wound up as empty storage or on a supply roll without sheet pieces or folded products, they can of course only be wound at a distance by the grippers placed on them, i.e. these empty stores or supply rolls require a relatively large amount of space.
- Conventional printed or unprinted sheets are also referred to as sheet pieces. Proceeding from this, it is the object of the present invention to create a simplified device which also allows space-saving empty storage formation.
- a steel strip 1 is drawn from a supply roll 2 in the direction of the arrow 3 and curved around a guide roll 4. Tangentially protruding tongues 5 can be seen on the curved part of the steel strip 1, their opening pointing in the pulling or rotating direction 6 of the steel strip 1.
- the steel strip 1 has U-shaped punched-outs 7 which are evenly spaced in its longitudinal direction and which each border a tongue 5. Since the steel strip 1 and with it the tongues 5 are flexible, the tongues 5 can be opened, projecting tangentially when the steel strip 1 is curved, and can be inserted into the punched-out portions 7 when the steel strip 1 is guided linearly.
- a stack 8 of sheet pieces or folded products which is height-adjustable in a known manner and to which stationary stop tongues 10, 11 are assigned on the side facing away from the transport direction 9 of the steel strip 1.
- a suction head 12, 13 is fixed in each case.
- the suction heads 12, 13 are each connected to a vacuum line 16 via a nozzle line 15.
- a part of the steel strip 1 is finally wound on a storage roll 14 in the direction of arrow 17.
- the distance from the stack 8 to the storage roll 14 is bridged by means of a rail-shaped delivery device 18.
- the tongue 5 exerts a gripper function.
- the tongues 5 open when they are one Curvature, that is to say guided around the guide roller 4 in the direction of rotation 6, to such an extent that it can grip a piece of sheet or folded product 19.
- the uppermost sheet piece or folded product 19 of the stack 8 is sucked in by means of the suction heads 12, 13 and thus locally raised.
- the tongues 5 arriving at intervals can thus slide easily under the edge of a sheet piece or folded product 19.
- the tongues 5 close like a gripper and thereby clamp the sheet pieces or folded products 19 received between them and the steel strip 1.
- the sheet pieces 19 are taken along in the direction of 9 and at the same time removed from the suction heads 12, 13, so that the next sheet piece or folded product 19 can be lifted from the stack 8.
- the stack 8 is fed evenly in the direction of arrow 20 by a drive, not shown here, to the steel strip 1.
- the steel strip 1 with the arc pieces 19 held in the tongues can be formed into a coil, ie into a storage roll 14. If the process described is reversed in its running direction (contrary to the directional arrows 17, 9, 6, 3), the sheet pieces 19 stored in the storage roll 14 can be removed again and stacked.
- the stop tongues 10, 11 arranged in the region of the front stacking edge are intended to align the incoming edge of the sheet pieces 19 to be deposited.
- a steel strip 21 with tongues 22 according to the invention is curved over a guide roller 23 in such a way that the openings of the tongues 22 point counter to the pulling direction 24 of the steel strip 21 drawn off from a supply roll analogously to the first exemplary embodiment.
- a delivery device 25 which is stationary Guide plates 26 and tongues 27 pivotable on and off to guide roller 23.
- the tongues 27 are provided with a compression spring 28 and at their end remote from the pivot point 29 with a fixedly mounted sensing roller 30.
- the delivery device 25 is supplied with printed products such as folded products 33 in the form of scales.
- the pivotable tongues 27 are reshaped in their shape to the surface of the guide roller 23 to facilitate the insertion of the folded products 33 into the tongue openings and interact with the sensing roller 30, which scans the scale flow thickness on the guide roller 23, in such a way that with increasing Thickening of the shingled stream 34, the tongues 27 are gradually pivoted away from the guide roller 23 against the compression spring 28 until their lower edge comes to lie parallel to the guide plates 26 and, as the thickness of the shingled stream 34 decreases, are pivoted towards the guide roller 23, so that the tongues 27 den Folded products 33 always leave enough space, but still rest against the folded products 33 in such a way that they can easily be pushed into the openings of the tongues 22.
- the folded products can then be wound onto a storage roll analogously to the first exemplary embodiment.
- the folded products 33 can be removed again in the form of scales for further processing and separated.

Description
The invention relates to a device for receiving, storing and delivering folded products or sheet pieces, in which a flexible steel belt designed as a transport device, which can be pulled off a supply roll, can be bent around a guide roll and can be pulled up onto a storage roll, is provided.
A device of this type is already known from European patent application 0 387 726. In this device, elastic steel strips are also described which, with attached grippers, capture sheet pieces or folded products in a cyclical manner and can store them in a winding form on a storage roll. If the steel strips are to be wound up as empty storage or on a supply roll without sheet pieces or folded products, they can of course only be wound at a distance by the grippers placed on them, i.e. these empty stores or supply rolls require a relatively large amount of space. Conventional printed or unprinted sheets are also referred to as sheet pieces. Proceeding from this, it is the object of the present invention to create a simplified device which also allows space-saving empty storage formation.
This object is achieved by applying the features of the characterizing part of patent claim 1. Further developments result from the description in connection with the drawing and from the subclaims.

As shown in FIG. 1, a steel strip 1 is drawn from a
As shown in detail in FIG. 4, the steel strip 1 has U-shaped punched-
Arranged below the
As can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
The preceding explanations show how sheet pieces or folded
Falzprodukte 33 in Schuppenform zugeführt.
When the direction of the process is reversed, the folded
