Die Ausnehmungen 10 bzw. die Schaltzähne 12 sind am Umfang 13 der Zuhaltungen 7a bis 7d grundsätzlich immer an derselben Stelle vorgesehen. Dies gilt jedoch nur für Nichtwende-Schlüssel. Die Ausnehmung 10' besitzt eine verhältnismäßig große, freie Länge. Die Rastnase 32'' steht schlüsselseitig über den Federsteg 31'' vor und ist in der Lage, einen Federweg f gemäß Fig.6 zu überbrücken, um aus der Raststellung in eine Freigabestellung auszuweichen, wenn der Schlüssel 1'' abgezogen wird. Das Rastelement 30'' liegt vorzugsweise kontinuierlich mit seinem Umfang in einer Ausnehmung 33'' des Zylinderkerns 6'' und weist zur Erzielung der Federeigenschaft eine Ausnehmung 34'' hinter dem Federsteg 32'' auf. Claims (12)

  1. A lock arrangement, in particular for motor vehicles, comprising a lock cylinder (2) and a key (3), wherein the lock cylinder (2) includes at least one cylinder housing (4) with at least one locking passage (5), a cylinder core (6) with a key passage (21), and tumblers (7a-7d, 7b'), wherein
    a) the tumblers (7a-7d, 7b') are pivotable about their axes (8),
    b) each tumbler (7a, 7d, 7b') is acted upon by a torsion spring (16),
    c) at their periphery (13) the tumblers (7a-7d, 7b') have at least one nose (14, 15) which is pivotable into the locking passage (5), and
    d) provided on the key (3) or at the tumbler side is at least one projecting entrainment portion (9, 9') or a recess (10, 10') for transforming the rectilinear key movement in the key passage (21) into a movement of the respective tumbler (7a-7d, 7b') about its axis (8),
    characterised by
    e) an insert (24) which can be inserted into the cylinder core (6), with at least one axis member (8) for each tumbler (7a-7d, 7b'), wherein
    f) the insert (24) is in part identical in contour to the cylinder core (6).
  2. A lock arrangement according to claim 1 characterised in that two tumblers (7a, 7b and 7c, 7d respectively) are arranged in a respective radial plane (19, 20) of the cylinder core (6).
  3. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that the tumbler (7a-7d) has two shift teeth (12) at its periphery (13) for forming a recess (10).
  4. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that the shift teeth (12) are arranged diametrally opposite the noses (14, 15).
  5. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that the cylinder core (6) has radially outwardly open pockets (17) for accommodating the tumblers (7a-7d).
  6. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that the control teeth (12) can be provided on the key (3) in more than one key plane (23) and the recesses (10) of the shift teeth (12) can be provided on the tumblers (7a-7d) at different locations on the periphery (13) of the tumblers (7a-7d).
  7. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that the tumbler (7a-7d) has recesses (10) and shift teeth (12) in more than one plane (2).
  8. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that there are provided four tumblers (7a-7d).
  9. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that the key (3) has control teeth (9), as the projecting entrainment portions (9), the control teeth engaging into the recesses (10) of the tumblers (7a-7d).
  10. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that a respective control tooth (9) is provided on the key (3) for a tumbler (7a-7d) with a recess (10).
  11. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised in that the tumbler (7b') has at least one entrainment portion (9') which projects beyond its periphery (13) and the key (3') has a respective recess (10') associated with the respective entrainment portion(9') of the tumbler (7b').
  12. A lock arrangement according to one or more of the preceding claims characterised by a retaining element (30") which is arranged at the cylinder core side and which engages into the depression (24").
