Abstract

The apparatus is intended to permit the motorically handicapped to move in an upright position, by way of oscillation, to sit in a normal position or in an inclined position for relaxation, without help and without the provision of external energy. It consists of a framework (1) bearing support breeches (2) in which the user is suspended by the pelvis, held on a back part (3) by struts (4), his inanimate legs being positioned in a support (6) integral with a collapsible seat (7). Two pairs of lateral articulated legs (8,9,10,11) allow the user to move by displacement of the centre of gravity of the assembly beyond the bearing point of the legs positioned to the front, by pushing on walking sticks, for example.
