Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a ground transport and stacking device with the features of the preamble of claim 1. Such devices have long been known in practice. The disadvantage of these devices is that at the points at which the upper belt in the running direction is arranged for the removal of the stack, no front upper belt transporting the sheets into the stacking area can be provided. This means that because of the rear upper belts required for the stack removal, only half of the front upper belts which are required per se can be carried out into the stacking area.
With DE-OS 31 14414 another device has become known, which is equipped with separate upper belts for the removal of the finished stack of sheets, which must be accommodated in the smallest space for reasons of space. As a rule, there is only space for one band per stack that grips the stack on one side. This has the disadvantage that the individual stacks of sheets can shift or shift during removal. This necessitates the subsequent alignment of each stack, but this is not always possible.
The invention is based on the object of reducing the structural outlay for the upper belts required for the removal of the sheet stack, but at the same time allowing the sheet stack to be removed in an orderly manner.
To achieve this object, the features characterized in claim 1 are proposed according to the invention in a sheet transport and stacking device of the type mentioned. Advantageous refinements are characterized in the subclaims.
The essence of the invention is the idea of using the upper belt available for the transport of the sheets also when the sheet stack is being removed from the stacking device. This is made possible by the fact that the upper belt is moved alternately by the drive of the lower belt, on which the sheets are transported, at the same speed as this, and then, when the finished stack of sheets is removed, in synchronous synchronism with the drive of the lower belt on which the stack of sheets lies. A constructive additional effort for additional upper belts to remove the stack of sheets. as was necessary in existing systems, is omitted in the device according to the invention.
In order to bring the stack of sheets into contact with the upper belt for transport, the lower belt is designed to be liftable in conventional systems. According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, however, it is also possible. move the top belt down using a support plate until it contacts the sheet stack. For this purpose, the support plate can be raised and lowered. Of course, during the relative movement of the lower and upper belts used to remove the stack of sheets, both can also be moved towards one another.
On the basis of the embodiment shown in the drawing, the invention is explained in more detail.
On the lower belt 8, the sheets of
During the stacking operation, the upper belt 1 is coupled to the drive 3 of the lower belt 8 via the
When the intended height of the stack 6 is reached, the upper belt 1 is released from the drive 3 of the lower belt 8 via the
The
After the stack 6 has been removed from the stacking device, the
