Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a side pad tilting system for a seat pad for a vehicle, and more particularly, to a side pad tilting system for a seat pad for a vehicle, which improves a structure of a tilting system for a side pad that is lowered when a driver gets off and raised when the driver gets on to provide comfort to the driver, and thus, is simple and operates smoothly.
Background
Generally, a seat cushion of an automobile is composed of a head rest (head rest), a seat back (seat back), a seat cushion (seat cushion), and the like so that a driver and a passenger can sit comfortably.
The car seat cushion has various convenient devices for providing comfort to a driver and passengers, such as a cushion position adjusting device for moving the whole seat cushion up and down and left and right, a lumbar bracket at the rear back of the seat cushion, side cushions at the left and right sides of the seat cushion, and the like.
The seat cushion holds the hip portion of the driver, and left and right sides of the seat cushion have protruding side pads (SideBolster) for preventing the center of the driver from being weighted more to the left and right when the vehicle makes a sharp turn or rotates left and right.
In the above-described structure in which the left and right sides of the seat cushion have the protruding Side pads (Side Bolster), the main frame protrudes as a whole and the upper portion thereof has the pads to maintain the protruding state all the time.
As described above, if the side pads are continuously kept in the protruding state on the left and right sides of the seat cushion, it is inconvenient for the driver to get on and off the vehicle.
Since the height of the side pad cannot be raised, the function of preventing the driver from being more focused on the right and left when the vehicle is making a sharp turn or is rotating right and left is reduced.
In particular, if the Side pad (Side Bolster) is always in the protruding state as described above, when a driver gets on or off the vehicle, friction between the Side pad portion and the driver's hip or lower body is repeatedly generated, and the Side pad leather portion is worn to cause a whitening phenomenon, and the leather wrinkles to affect the appearance of the seat cushion.
The prior art No. 10-1326491 is intended to solve the drawbacks of the seat pad for vehicles, but it has some structural problems such as a complicated transmission structure for operating the side pad and a great reduction in durability of the tilting device formed in a plate shape inside the side pad.

Detailed Description
According to the side pad tilting system for a vehicle seat pad of the present invention for achieving the above object, the motor 9 is mounted on the frame 8 constituting the lower space of the side pad 10 provided at one side of the seat pad 20 through the bracket 9-1.
In order to rotate the rotation shaft of the motor 9 and rotate the female screw pipe shaft 5 formed in a right angle direction, a worm 5-3 is formed on the rotation shaft, and a worm wheel 5-2 is formed at a lower portion of the female screw pipe shaft 5, thereby transmitting the rotation action of the motor to the female screw pipe shaft 5.
The upper portion of the female screw pipe shaft 5 is screw-coupled to a screw shaft 5-1 coupled to the elevation port 4 to be capable of idling, and the elevation port is operated by forward and reverse rotation of the female screw pipe shaft 5.
The upper part of the lifting port 4 is fixed to the support plate 3 supporting the side pad to lift the support plate 3, and the side surface of the lifting port is supported by the guide rail 6 to be capable of lifting.
As another configuration of the present invention, since the reduction gear 7 for reducing the speed is provided on the rotation shaft of the motor 9, and the structure of the reduction gear constituting the reduction gear 7 is a general structure, a specific description thereof is omitted, and in the configuration for changing the rotation direction, a bevel gear is used for the rotation shaft of the reduction gear and the female screw pipe shaft 5, but other devices may be used.
The upper part of the female screw pipe shaft 5 is screw-coupled to a screw shaft 5-1 coupled to a lifting port 4 to be able to idle, the upper part of the lifting port 4 is fixed to a support plate 3 supporting a side pad, and the side surface of the lifting port is supported by a guide rail 6 to be able to ascend and descend, thereby constituting a side pad tilting system 1.
The motor 9 constituting the side pad tilting system 1 is configured to rotate in the forward and reverse directions by sensing a sensor signal for opening and closing a vehicle door, or to be manually operated by a separate switch (not shown).
The operation of the side pad tilting system for a vehicle seat pad according to the present invention configured as above will be described below.
According to the side pad tilting system of the seat pad for the vehicle of the present invention, the motor 9 may be manually operated by a separate switch (not shown), or the motor 9 may be operated by a signal of a sensor (not shown) that senses when a vehicle door (not shown) is opened and closed.
That is, the motor 9 is operated by a sensor for sensing when the vehicle door is opened and closed, thereby forming normal rotation or reverse rotation of the rotation shaft, and when the vehicle door is opened, the motor 9 is operated to normally rotate the rotation shaft and the worm 5-3 formed on the rotation shaft, thereby transmitting rotation to the worm wheel 5-2 formed at the lower portion of the female screw pipe shaft 5 engaged with the worm 5-3, thereby normally rotating the female screw pipe shaft 5.
Then, the screw shaft 5-1 screwed with the female screw shaft 5 is inserted into the female screw shaft 5, so that the elevation port 4 coupled to the upper portion of the screw shaft 5-1 in an idle manner is lowered together with the screw shaft 5-1.
When the liftgate 4 is lowered as described above, the support plate 3 fixed thereto for supporting the side pad is also lowered together with the side pad 10, and the side surface of the liftgate 4 is supported by the guide rail 6 and lowered, so that the side pad 10 can be stably lowered, and the driver can get off the vehicle in such a state that the side pad is lowered, and can prevent the hip or the lower body from pressing or rubbing the side pad, thereby preventing the wear of the side pad leather, and facilitating the getting off of the vehicle.
When the driver sits behind the seat cushion and closes the vehicle door, the motor 9 rotates in reverse, and the worm 5-3 formed on the rotating shaft of the motor 9 transmits rotation to the worm wheel 5-2 formed on the lower portion of the female screw pipe shaft 5, so that the female screw pipe shaft 5 rotates in reverse.
Then, the screw shaft 5-1 screw-coupled with the female screw tube shaft 5 is disengaged from the inside of the female screw tube shaft 5 so that the elevation port 4 coupled to the upper portion of the screw shaft 5-1 in an idle manner is elevated.
As the port 4 is raised as described above, the support plate 3 fixed thereto for supporting the side pad is also raised together with the side pad 10, and the side surface of the port 4 is supported by the guide rail 6 and raised, so that the side pad 10 can be stably raised, and when the side pad is raised in this way, the side pad can be brought into close contact with the hip and lower body of the driver, thereby providing a stable feeling to the driver.
According to another configuration of the present invention, when the driver closes the door of the vehicle, the motor 9 is operated to normally rotate or reversely rotate the bevel gear for changing the rotation direction through the reduction gear 7.
Then, when the female screw spindle 5 is rotated normally or reversely so that the elevation port 4 fixed to the support plate 3 supporting the side pad is also lowered or raised together by the screw shaft 5-1 screwed into or out of the female screw spindle 5, even if the screw shaft 5-1 coupled to the female screw spindle 5 is rotated, the side pad 10 can be stably raised and lowered by idling due to the coupling to the elevation port 4 and the side surface of the elevation port 4 being supported by the guide rail 6.
