I personally must say that I don't think this image turned out great. For once it is absolutely huge compared to the surrounding text causing one to have to scroll far to get down to the information in the README:
While it might look nice in "social media previews" it doesn't look very good in the README. If the goal is to have dark/white versions of this I think doing one such version of the original logo in the README is a better idea.
