name.split(',', 1) -> only splits on the first occurrence of ',' ensuring not more than 2 items
s.strip().replace(',', '') -> removes any remaining commas so that it doesn't affect CSVs
'Leno, Charles, Jr.' -> 'Leno', 'Charles Jr.'
