Looking after yourself shouldn't be boring or difficult—more joyful and easy. For many years, I've been a big fan of the health benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar. I really noticed the difference when adopting it into my lifestyle; I just didn't appreciate the taste. That's why I wanted to make the vinegar hack delicious, so I could reap the benefits and enjoy it! The result was an all-organic, lightly sparkling ACV drink with no sugar. We cut through the taste of vinegar with simple ingredients, arriving at three health-boosting flavors.
I drink it while I'm cooking, to stave off cravings and balance my glucose when eating starch- and carb-heavy meals. I also drink it as a grown-up alternative to alcohol—though I love to pour it into a champagne glass and sip it while I'm making dinner. It's the perfect aperitif, great for your digestion and glucose regulation.
Discover ACVWhat inspired you to create ACV, and how did your journey begin?
"A few years ago, I was inspired by the glucose revolution and decided to get certified in glucose knowledge. I learned that many of the symptoms I suffered from were triggered by glucose spikes: chronic fatigue, low mood, cravings (especially sugar cravings), and brain fog. These common, everyday symptoms are all linked to issues with glucose regulation. Learning how to stabilize my glucose levels was a game changer, and one of the pivotal hacks was vinegar! I fell in love with ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) for its numerous health properties.
I wore a CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) so I could track my glucose levels in real time. When I did the vinegar hack* before eating a starch-heavy meal, I could feel and see the difference. I loved the change in energy but disliked the taste—it wasn’t a fun thing to do before eating. That’s where the idea of making a healthy ACV drink that actually tasted good became exciting! There was a gap in the market, and I knew we had the credentials to fill it — a drink you look forward to.
So, my now-husband and I turned our kitchen into a laboratory for a few months, experimenting with recipes. We failed at overcomplicated flavors using cold-pressed juices but succeeded with the simple approach of using spices and tannin-rich flavor profiles. Ensuring the product was organic was essential because we strongly believe in supporting organic food culture, with a solution that balanced the flavor without sugar. The spices we used boosted the health benefits and cut through the taste of vinegar. We were on our way!"

How do you approach crafting flavour in your drinks, and what makes your product unique?
“All the ingredients are clean-label and carefully chosen to guarantee the highest quality and taste. There are no other Apple Cider Vinegar drinks on the market that are sugar-free; all others use fruit sugars to balance flavors. For our brand, it was really important not to use sugars that would counteract the benefits of the acetic acid. The ingredients were chosen for their own health benefits and distinctive flavor profiles, all balancing the taste of vinegar well.”
What are the biggest challenges you face in producing in high-quality low/no alcohol product?
"Being certified organic is something we’re very proud of, but it involved more time sourcing suppliers and production. We’re a member of the Soil Association and comforted by their level of due diligence, given that audits and traceability guarantee our product is 100% organic from farm to palm. Although organic certification affects the price point, the process kept the integrity of the product and was definitely worth it.
We have won taste awards since launching in 2023—not for specialty but for soft drink categories. This has been an important achievement, as our goal was to share the health benefits while creating broader appeal for a mass market—a sophisticated soft drink with health benefits."
How do you envision the future of low and no? Are there any trends you're excited about?
"The rise of functional drinks is encouraging and a culture we’re excited to be a part of. Clean-label drinks with benefits will no doubt keep up with the low-and-no brands, as more people are looking to sustain their energy healthily rather than seek stimulants to socialise. I think it’s very exciting to see more alcohol-free alternatives entering the market, but personally, it’s important not to exchange alcohol for something that is also questionably healthy."
What is one thing you wish more people knew about your product or the low/no alcohol industry in general?
"There are ways to keep your social life without alcohol. There are plenty of soft drink innovations that help you stay out with friends, don’t compromise in a dinner or bar environment, and keep your energy while others ride the spikes of alcohol sugars. Ours is a good alternative, and as you’re able to drink a few, it’s a good companion on a night out or night in."
