Lloyd Black
Lloyd Llewellyn Black (1889-1950) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
He was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on August 2, 1939, to a seat created by 52 Stat. 584.[1] He was confirmed by the Senate on August 4th, and received commission on August 11th. On January 20, 1940, he was assigned to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. He served on both of these courts until his death on August 23, 1950.
