Quite the "Marriage" of some of the best genres! An Isekai meets Romance DONE RIGHT. An overlooked GEM!
At a first glance, it seems to be the stereotypical "Reverse Harem" with all the usual tropes. However, it is FAR from it!
Minutes after listening to the BANGER of an OP, I could sense this was going to be a ride. And yes, a ride, it most certainly was!
The Female lead manages to get stuck in one of her favorite romance novels as a "Side" character who has an unsavory fate. Going with the conceived notion and knowledge of her previous life, she tries and defy her fate.
This one was quite the surprise. It had a decent plot, likeable characters, and a surprisingly STRONG male lead. More often than naught, a series like this REALLY caters to its female audience, but to my surprise, it does a GOOD job setting some great examples as to how a MAN should be.
The Main characters CARRY this tale, quite well. If you love Isekai and romance, then PLEASE do not miss this!

I would say it is mediocre for this genre. Felt like a lot of scenes with other characters were cut/unnatural as MC would have an encounter that abruptly leads to nothing much. While the show mainly focuses on the male & female leads, their interactions are also unnatural and awkward. They pause/stare/freeze for too long and too frequently. Overall, neither good nor bad.

Think of it as a visualisation of a light romance novel while watching and you will be immersed in the story. It has an open ending, but it is up to you to finish it. Everything about it is light, just a tiny bit of mysticism, and, even the bickering of the MCs is right on spot where it counts.

Not sure how to feel about this since I read the manga which was far better, the anime seemed a little slow, also this season is just part of the story and you can't rate something without seeing the ending, and this season barely scratches the surface, with that said I rated it a 6 (the manga an 8).
I recommend it, but it would be a better experience to wait for the next season and watch it then, or read the manga instead.

Going into this series I was expecting a reverse harem with lots melodrama throughout, but was pleasantly surprised with the watch as it was not that. This follows the female lead getting into a relationship to change her fate. The characters were solid, pacing was good and romance was grounded. If you enjoy romance series, this is an enjoyable watch.
