Too little, too late. It's hard to stay hyped when we get half an arc with very little hope it will be completed before we died of old age, if ever. Whoever still remembers FMP most certainly read the story years ago.

True, the only book they can use for a short series is "Dancing Very Merry Christmas", but I'm afraid that's not enough to make a 12-13 ep series.
When they do more books, they must finish the whole series.

Right now, even if they were to make another series, it'd be hard to stay true to the original. Quite a lot happened since TSR and I don't see FMP getting a 26eps series (assuming FMP is ever animated again).
Thinking how they'd need to butcher the story with only 12-13eps kinda makes me not want to see another season. It's a "do it right or don't do it at all" thing.
