All in all, quality consistent with the first season, lots of genuine progression on all levels, so I'll stick with a short breakdown:
- Kazu keeps being an idiot
- Mami keeps being annoying, goes full stalker to uncover "the truth"(tm)
- Mizuhara shows some new sides to her
- Ruka still the girl who won't ever win
Makes good use of what the first season set up and the pacing is refreshingly quick. Feels like the next season could finish it up.

I'm glad to see the MC kind of pulled himself together literally in the last episode, until then he was truly pissing me off as he was much worse than in the first season to the point I was about to drop the show (despite truly loving first season). This season takes a much more serious attitude to the relations between characters, but, strangely enough, for me at least, I do not know which of the heroines to support in their love pursuit to be honest. <strike>Chitoge</strike> Ruka kind of feels like the best match, Sumi is so charming that you wish to support her, but the same goes for the hard-worker Chizuru. Literally don't care about Mami :)
Anyway, eagerly expecting season 3, if you had enjoyed first season, I'd say you should continue watching.

I am thrilled to say that the groundwork laid for this season was well utilized. The story took off, with so fewer superficial moments, and more developed relationships (albeit more complicated). You get to see more of the backstory of the characters, more moments of surprise, and more intensity.
This season wrapped up with a bang, and set up for the next season beautifully. If you've seen season one, you'll love season two, and you'll be eagerly awaiting season 3, as I am.
