This is where you should start if you're considering watching Legend Of The Galactic Heroes. It has a nice introduction to both factions and a great battle to keep you entertained for the full hour you will be spending to watch this.

Very interesting start to the LoGH franchise. Nice display of tactics and the characters' way of thinking and their personalities, accompanied by great classic musical scores.

This movie was very insteresting, both main heroes showed their tactical potential and abilities. You can finally learn about the first fight encounter between Reinhard von Lohengramm and Yang Wen-li. Must see for LoGH fans.

Chronologically set in between the two LOGH OVA's and "Overture to a New War”, this movie centers around the “4th Tiamat Battle” where Yang Wenli and Reinhard first encounter each other upon the field of battle. Definitely for LOGH fans, but can be enjoyable on its own merits as a movie.
