sorry yall, this particular update seems to have caused issues and broke a lot of the mod's functionality, and I think the devs just need more time and patience as they figure everything out. It really is such a major overhaul of essentially a collection of mods merged into one. I'll always respect modders for providing all this free content for older/single player games, and similar mod issues with game updates happened in Minecraft, Fallout 4 reccently, etc. but these situations usually lead to better understanding of how the game functions and eventually improved enhanced mods. In the meantime, the Gang and Turf mod still works perfectly and adds ambient spawning roaming armed gang members, gang wars and the gangs even each have unique armored weaponized vehicles that upgrade overtime. Straight up Saints Row 3, in a good way. Save some loadouts and customize using Menyoo/a mod trainer menu, give the guns cool paint and attachments, customize some cars, change yourself to a military soldier and defend Fort Zancudo, go SWAT and defend the prison, there's always the zombies mod, possibilities are endless. just please don't be too hard on the devs, let's support them and be patient
@ElevenXV YES set gangs and everyone else to ignore you, go godmode and witness the carnage. super fun if you blackout all the lights in the city at night, or in a thunderstorm or blizzard. That's why I love this mod so much, all the new police vehicles,outfits, tactics and dogs and all that
@ElevenXV yeah this + gang and turf mod completely changed the open world for me
@chopolander iircc Scripthook.net says somewhere that it'll just warn that v2 is no longer being as updated as they're fully moving on to focus on 3. It's just a warning, nothing wrong with the game or mods itself

Meant to follow up earlier, but I found and disabled 'Improved Freight' or something similar, and that seemed to finally do the trick, no more exploding planes. I'm glad since this mod just adds so much cool stuff to the world
@ADDR I'll take another look at that, I was looking through the files trying to find where to disable it
@Alex_0880 the pride and bliss of owning GTA 5 on Steam and just recently reaching 500 hours in it
dang, used this mod for a couple years and I love a lot of the content and random scenarios and event sit has but I can't take the plane crashes anymore, it ruins the ambience and atmosphere completely and I'm moving on. But this mod had great potential and I'm still grateful for the fun I had with it, thank you
