Musical quotation

[edit]

Should I use this property only if the whole piece is to the tune of another piece or can I use it for musical quotations, too? E.g., can I use it for saying that 1812 Overture (Q212776) quotes God Save the Tsar! (Q478470)? - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 09:39, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As descriptions in other languages seem to allow this and this property is otherwise almost unused I will change the German label and description and start to use it for musical quotations, too. - Valentina.Anitnelav (talk) 14:27, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
