Serious problems
It has taken me 2.5 months to get a refund for clothes that I returned in August. Some of issues encountered:
- In UK orders take 10+ days to dispatch and ship.
- Evri, who are notoriously unreliable in UK, appear to not send out return confirmation emails. This happened on 2 returned orders.
- Returns and refunds are not processed until 30 days after they are sent back, but because EVRI appear not sent out tracking information, O'neill cannot find returned orders on their internal systems
- I had to chase customer service multiple times and was told conflicting information about the progress of my return- that the return was on their system and then not on their system.
- Ultimately I had to sign a declaration that I had returned the item because O'neill had no way of verifying the return.
This points to relatively serious issues behind closed doors. The responsible thing to do would be to stop taking orders, if you cannot process returns in an efficient and fair way.
Chances are O'neill are sat on a large sum of customers money for returned items they cannot verify and in this instance I would warn anyone considering purchasing off them, at least in UK, to not do so.
