Serious problems

It has taken me 2.5 months to get a refund for clothes that I returned in August. Some of issues encountered:
- In UK orders take 10+ days to dispatch and ship.
- Evri, who are notoriously unreliable in UK, appear to not send out return confirmation emails. This happened on 2 returned orders.
- Returns and refunds are not processed until 30 days after they are sent back, but because EVRI appear not sent out tracking information, O'neill cannot find returned orders on their internal systems
- I had to chase customer service multiple times and was told conflicting information about the progress of my return- that the return was on their system and then not on their system.
- Ultimately I had to sign a declaration that I had returned the item because O'neill had no way of verifying the return.

This points to relatively serious issues behind closed doors. The responsible thing to do would be to stop taking orders, if you cannot process returns in an efficient and fair way.

Chances are O'neill are sat on a large sum of customers money for returned items they cannot verify and in this instance I would warn anyone considering purchasing off them, at least in UK, to not do so.

Fast shipping, very nice clothes

I had read very negative reviews here about this brand and at first I didn't dare to buy anything from them online. I finally made a purchase and I am very satisfied. They shipped the items in 3 days, and in less than a week they had arrived home. The clothes are very nice, very stylish, and good quality. As for sizes, the system (size guide) recommended an S for me, but I decided on an XS (my go-to size in any brand) and I made the right decision. Overall very satisfied.

Very helpful Rep, on a holiday!

I was looking for a pair of O'Neill shorts that I have and love, but needed a lighter color. During my online search a customer service rep named Miranda started texting me and was extremely helpful in assisting me to try tracking down the shorts, which apparently they don't make anymore. Surprised to see so many bad reviews as my experience with Miranda was excellent.

Long delays

Order eventually arrived but was way too small so sent straight back the refund policy is a joke 30 days
They d do respond to emails avoid this company unless you like hassle

Nice cloths. Will take time to arrive. Some orders show up quicker

I've been ordering their cloths for years and always liked them but lately they've been taking way too long to ship. Like WAY too long. Reading all the negative reviews makes sense. I could see this company being bad in ways but overall they've always responded to my emails quickly and come through. I've paid overnight shipping and indeed it makes no difference and thats B.S. so dont ever pay extra. I always use my reward points or order when sales are going on to combat the shipping and tax price and the price never goes up much. I like the cloths and styles they have and ill continue ordering from oneill but 3 stars cuz their shipping can take such a long time. Longer than stated on the website and this has been a problem.

Terrible service

Terrible service
I love their products but their online store is the probably the worst I've ever used.
It's been many days yet they still don't ship my order. The customer service is basically like non-existent.
Wish I had read the reviews here before placing my order. Would never order anything from them again.

Incredibly poor customer service

Incredibly poor customer service, no response to emails about orders for days/weeks. No one answers their customer service line. Many items listed incorrectly as in stock when they are out of stock, then after your order and they inform you item out of stock, it remains listed as available on their website! I wonder if this is a scam site set up by their competitors to give one ill a bad rep ?

Make sure to https:// their website. The customer service is complete garbage. I received a message from the site saying too many inquires to check Shopify other customers welcome. Always "Out of Stock" and canceled an order that had already processed. Claimed to not offer any alternatives, but the items name had changed. I am going to inquire more and not purchase anymore from their website. I think it's a competitor's scam, literally!!
I just want to add I don't play basketball and think the Jordan brand is fake too. I hope they haven't associated my purchase with Shaquille because I don't do basketball at all.

Don't order from them

for the size of the company and the name brand - this place needs to get it SH#T together. No one answers the phone or returns messages, no one answers the support email for days and when they actually do there is no 'resolution' answer. They need to regroup and re-assess their company standards. I will not be purchasing anything from them. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE., Your product will not ship or arrive ever.

Sent me the wrong items

Sent me the wrong items. Arrived after 3 weeks originally. Still waiting on my 'correct' order to ship out. Do not order from their website. It feels like a scam run by a diff country altogether. Total garbage. Who sends the wrong items? They must not be able to read or see what's on the order sheet in front of them. Worst fulfillment center in the world

Long time customer but just found out…

Long time customer but just found out about there scam process for shipping. Be careful if you purchase a item through ONeill online. You have different options to choose from for shipping, paying up to $25 for next day air. Guess what, doesnt matter to them all orders take 3-4 buisness days. Its a scam. Ive been a long time client, ive paid for 2 day air, opted the free shipping option. It pretty much all delivers around the same time frame. Dont Pay for the Next Day!! There stealing your money.

Great brand. Great clothing…

I don’t know why O’Neil has negative reviews, this is a good brand. I love their clothing since they are good quality, and it’s just a simple surfing brand. But the negative reviews can be based upon O’Neils customer service, which is kind of inconvenient, because the brand shouldn’t have to do with customer service, and overall they have great clothing. If you wanna buy a nice, comfortable t shirt, then O’Neil is for you.

They definitely will not go out of…
They definitely will not go out of their way to help you. I placed an order a size too small and immediately emailed to request they change my order to the correct size and they refused, just told me to return it instead. I’ve made this request with other companies and it has never been a problem, especially when the order didn’t even leave the facility yet! I will never order from this company again.

Awful Order Experience

I placed an order with O'Neill back on April 22nd. On April 26th, the wetsuit was delivered. Unfortunately, the wetsuit had some damage and I had to send it back. O'Neill received the return on May 2nd. Fast forward to today, May 13th. I am still waiting for the refund so I can order a new suit. After reaching out to customer service, I have been told that the return process can take 4 weeks! If that holds true, it will take roughly 6 weeks from initial order to receiving an actual, usable wetsuit. By the time I can order and receive a new wetsuit I won't even need one anymore this year. I've never seen a return process move this slowly. It's insane!

Make Sure You Order 30 Days In Advance

I order this on 7/2, then I was told it was processed 7/5, then today is 7/10 was shipped, so now I don't even get it (estimated delivery 7/13)... when I need it for? Lol! Will be on my trip on 7/12. Horrible logistics and supply chain! Will not buy again!

Psycho Freak seam seal failure

I have bought O'Neill Psycho Freak wetsuits over many years. I used to get three or even four seasons. Now their seam sealing inside the suit is falling to bits at one year and terrible at two. Makes the suit scratchy and horrible to wear.

“Out of stock”, no refund

0 stars if possible. I tried to but two matching bikini pieces, they charged me for shipping and only sent the bottom. The other piece was “out of stock”. When I asked them to refund me shipping to find another piece they agreed. They had no matching pieces so I bought a whole different bikini. They only sent me the top and said the bottom was “out of stock”. And when I gave my refund details to customer service, they never refunded me the shipping. This happened twice that I reached out for the agreed upon shipping refund with no response. Now I have two unmatched swim suit pieces. Plus the pieces were on sale so they won’t let me return them. Such a disappointing company and bad experience.

Pretty horrendous customer service

Pretty horrendous customer service. There listed customer service phone number is a sad joke. They will never answer it. I’ve tried over the course of many days over several weeks. They put you on hold for about five minutes and then they tell you they’re gonna hang up on you. It takes them many days to respond to emails if ever. I would stay very far away from this company’s website. Their products however I do like but I would never buy them anymore from their website. Go to your local dealer because they most likely have a phone and they will most likely answer it. That will never happen at oneill.com.

Horrible service.

Great wetsuits, terrible terrible service.
Ordered 3 wetsuits, 3 day delivery. It’s a month later and they have just said they have oversold.

Initially told me they would be delayed and then took a month to let me know they were not coming at all

What has happened to O'Neill !!??

Placed an order and charged right away. Supposedly shipped but tracking shows they are still waiting for the order 9 days later. Have sent two emails to customer service and still no response 3 days later. Called and put on hold for 10 minutes then hung up on. Filing a claim with my bank. Will never order from them again.
