Sybil Barbara Farquhar was born on 18 February 1909.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Francis Douglas Farquhar and Lady Evelyn Hely Hutchinson.1 She married, firstly, Commander Anthony Boyce Combe, son of Major Boyce Combe and Mabel Katherine Tombs, on 4 November 1930.1 She and Commander Anthony Boyce Combe were divorced in 1946.1 She married, secondly, Charles Robert Archibald Grant of Cotes, son of General Sir Charles John Cecil Grant and Lady Sybil Myra Caroline Primrose, on 28 March 1946.1 She died on 12 January 1981 at age 71.2
