David Drummond, 3rd Lord Maderty was the son of John Drummond, 2nd Lord Maderty and Margaret Leslie.1 He married, firstly, Alison Creighton, daughter of John Creighton of Haltoun and Luncardie, on 6 February 1637/38.1 He married by contract, secondly, Lady Beatrix Graham, daughter of John Graham, 4th Earl of Montrose and Lady Margaret Ruthven, on 10 December 1641.2 He died in 1684.2

Anne Dundas was born on 28 September 1768 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Henry Dundas, 1st Viscount Melville of Melville and Elizabeth Rannie.3 She married, firstly, Henry Drummond, son of Hon. Henry Drummond and Elizabeth Compton, on 13 February 1786.1 She married, secondly, James Charles Edward Stuart Strange, son of Sir Robert Strange of Balcaskie and Isabella Lumisden, on 18 December 1798 at Balcaskie, Fife, Scotland.1 She died in January 1852 at age 83 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2
