Hon. Helen Sarah Godley was born on 10 August 1872.2 She was the daughter of John Arthur Godley, 1st Baron Kilbracken and Hon. Sarah James.3 She married Henry Edward Harcourt Rice, son of Admiral Sir Edward Bridges Rice and Cecilia Caroline Harcourt, on 25 June 1895.1 She died on 16 December 1922 at age 50.1
