     Sir Richard Cromwell was born in 1500.2 He was the son of Morgan Williams and Catherine Cromwell.1 He married Frances Murfyn, daughter of Sir Thomas Murfyn, in 1518.3 He died in 1544.4 He was buried on 20 February 1533 at Stepney, London, England.3
     He was given the name of Richard Williams at birth.1

     Frances Murfyn was the daughter of Sir Thomas Murfyn.1 She married Sir Richard Cromwell, son of Morgan Williams and Catherine Cromwell, in 1518.2

     Thomas Cromwell, 1st and last Earl of Essex was born circa 1485.1 He was the son of Walter Cromwell and Margaret Smythe.1,3 He married Elizabeth Wykes, daughter of Henry Wykes, in 1513. He died on 28 July 1540 at Tower Hill, The City, London, EnglandG, executed.1
     He gained the title of 1st Earl of Essex. He held the office of Chancellor of the Exchequer on 12 April 1533.4 He held the office of Master of the Rolls on 8 October 1534.4 He held the office of Lord Privy Seal in 1536.4 He held the office of Lord Great Chamberlain in 1539.4

     Bridget Cromwell was born in August 1624.1,3 She was the daughter of Oliver Cromwell and Elizabeth Bouchier.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Gen. Henry Ireton, son of German Ireton, on 15 January 1646.3 She married, secondly, General Charles Fleetwood, son of Sir Miles Fleetwood and Anne Luke, on 8 June 1652.3 She died in June 1662 at age 37.4,3
     From 15 January 1646, her married name became Ireton.3 From 8 June 1652, her married name became Fleetwood.3

     Lt.-Gen. Henry Ireton was born in 1611.2 He was the son of German Ireton. He married Bridget Cromwell, daughter of Oliver Cromwell and Elizabeth Bouchier, on 15 January 1646.3 He died on 26 November 1651.2
     He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1629 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Appleby in 1645.

     General Charles Fleetwood was born circa 1618.2 He was the son of Sir Miles Fleetwood and Anne Luke.2 He married, firstly, Frances Smith, daughter of Thomas Smith.1 He married, secondly, Bridget Cromwell, daughter of Oliver Cromwell and Elizabeth Bouchier, on 8 June 1652.3 He married, thirdly, Mary Coke, daughter of Sir John Coke, on 14 January 1664.3 He died on 4 October 1692.2
     He was Commander-in-Chief of the Parliamentary Army in Ireland.1 He held the office of Lord Deputy of Ireland between 1652 and 1655.2
