Kelly: 'We fell short on form'.
NEIL KELLY was quick to praise his Widnes side despite their defeat.Said Kelly: 'I'm very proud of the commitment and effort we've shown.
Maybe given another five minutes we could have won the game, but you've got to do it within the 80.
"Although we're very pleased with the way we've played, we've come up a little bit short and that's two defeats at home now, so we'll be looking for a victory against Wakefield next Friday.
"If you're cheeky enough to go 12-0 up against a side like Bradford, you can expect a bit of a backlash. We had a few decisions that went against us and when they get some repeat possessions they're going to score points against the best sides in the world.
"I don't think the rub of the green went our way with the refereeeing decisions today and if it had, maybe we'd have got something out of it."
Bulls coach Brian Noble admitted his side took too long to click into gear.
The former Great Britain international said: "Basically, we had to tough it out and we did. We've had a few bumps and bruises, too, and we've got another tough game against Hull next on Thursday.
