KUWAIT, Dec 19 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah has addressed His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the people and expatriates, expressing congratulations on the grant inauguration of Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled, in an official statement released on Saturday, expressed deep gratitude to the people of Kuwait for their cooperation with security authorities at and around the stadium, during the celebrations yesterday. "Such cooperation facilitated performing our security tasks," he said. His Highness the Amir inaugurated the stadium in a grand celebration, attended by a large number of officials and peoples. State departments including the Ministry of Interior joined hands in ensuring good organization of the event, held at the newly-built massive stadium, located in Al-Ardiya, some 12 km southwest of the capital.
